Today, an armored angel briefed me as to why some Rangers never die.
A scrolled believer doesn’t fall out, he is merely deployed for Heaven’s side. 
He is handed Godly orders that will last for eternity, 
His beret flash is brilliant and his battalion serves the Holy Trinity.

God has perfect timing”, the armored angel reminded me. 
Don’t you think God knows the words to the Ranger Creed? 
Recognizing each man is special, God gives them all a choice, 
Acknowledging that He will always hear a man’s inner voice. 
“Never shall I fail my comrades” came first from the Son of Man. 
Gallantly Christ set the example by following His Father’s command.”

Energetically, Christ met His enemy on a sacred battlefield
There He defeated death and salvation’s plan was sealed. 
Readily He displayed a “never surrender’ kind of comrade love 
He completed the mission as The Lone Survivor and on the third day rose above.”

The armored angel continued, “there were no beret’s earned in those days. 
Only a crown of thorns was issued and worn on earth’s darkest day. 
But Christ, being The Ultimate Ranger was the sacrifice that had to be paid.
He shouldered his task by being the truth, the light, and THE WAY.”

The armored angel allowed me to view behind a sacred door.
I witnessed a Hail and Farewell like I had never seen before. 
I saw soldiers, then smoke, then one ranger remained standing all alone
As the smoke cleared, pure silence captured heaven’s drop zone.

One red commanding thunderbolt saluted as the Ranger left this earthly land.
His name had been called from the scroll signed by the Father’s Hand.
As the heaven’s opened, a majestic escort of armored angels appeared.
We shall never leave a fallen comrade” they chanted, as they gathered up his gear. 

The Ranger smiled, as he found the face he had longed to see. 
“I was not afraid, Sir, for You gave me your word, you would come back for me.” 
As they turned and entered Heaven’s gates, I heard the ranger say, 
“My Lord, My Savior, The Ultimate Ranger, Lead The Way.”
Now I understand why some rangers never die or fade away.
Because as it is in heaven, so it is on earth, Rangers Lead The Way.
